My kids loved the place, especially, different shows that are performed by dolphins (there are three or four different shows during the day, so you can watch one, go to see some other creatures and return to watch an absolutely different show). The aquarium was fun but the reason it was tiring was because i live in Seiseki sakuragaoka and getting to Katase-Enoshima (Fujiwara) takes about 2 hours. At the aquarium, I watched and dolphin, seal and fish show. Finding lunch was hard. They only have 3 restaurants at the aquarium. Fortunately, you can stamp your hand and enter again later on....

We visited many aquarium in Japan and North America, and this one may not be the largest and newsest, but it is much more manageable than other huge aquariums if you have little kids. And the exhibitions are good, and the shows are as good as others.
There are many "ocean" related things you can do around the area.
