A big bay front park and an aquarium in Tokio. You can enjoy a great view of the city and the TDR by hopping on the second biggest ferris wheel in Japan. This is an only aquarium domesticates live tuna fish.

After a few days of the Disney parks, we were ready for a break! This beautiful park is only one train stop away - an easy trip, once you figure out how to find the local v. express train (oops!). We spent a half day here and really enjoyed the aquarium and the giant ferris wheel! Lots of cute schoolchildren...

This park would be a good choice if Tokyo is starting to feel crowded and cramped.
Mind you this is a park for relaxing rather than sightseeing. It's a modern, large park that feels spacious and uncrowded for Tokyo (never been there on a Sunday though...).
