Tokyo does not have a lot of "green space", so any park is a plus. This was a small city park with a water feature and some walking paths. Nothing spectacular. Some homeless people camped out. Still, it was green in a city of high rises and steel.

Very beautiful and relaxing - just how we, westerners, imagine of a Japanese garden. If you have the time and the weather is nice you should not miss this park.

This park is not so well taken care of ,plus so many homeless people lives there, It is a pitty because Shinjuku city have a lot of tax payers money but they do not expend more in a park that suposse to be realy beautiful. We went here as it was right next to our hotel & we just wanted a nice wee stroll. There was a coupel of lovely waterfalls with terrapins in them & a pond with koi fish, as well as a building like a traditional building, like a temple or something.
