The approach road to this dam is terrible and not maintained properly. Not a very great place to visit.

A poor dam compare to Banasura dam and all , but okey ,people do Edakkal sightseeing can reach this place is a short span of time . Road condition is terrible (2012) and it is an ok ok place , very less tourist but few good resorts are there
Nice place, nothing much to do, just walk up to the Dam and see the water flow in full force from the calm reservoir behind. There is quite a bit of crowd at this place, both local as well as tourists.
Amazing site, difficult off-road drive and then a pollution free walk to the dam site. Great photo ops. Loved every bit of it.

its a long drive to the dam the road is soooooooo horrible if ur driver is real good then go ahead otherwise you willl have to walk your way through the mud and puddles its a terrible road plus after walking for so long you see that there is already an oil spill and its a polluted dam
