The crew at Denali Tundra Tours sure do it right! Their knowledge of the area and passion for Denali really shows. The scenery is amazing and the Argos are really really fun and easy to drive! Can't wait for another trip out this summer!

We visited Denali Tundra Tours at the beginning of summer last year (2012). My husband, myself and our 8 year old son were ready for a tour of the Alaskan Wilderness and an exciting trip driving the Argos. First, if you have any issues with arthritis or carpal tunnel, I'd advise you don't drive the vehicle. The terrain is rough...

We regret that Faithann1221’s free tour wasn't a fantastic experience for her and her family. Our goal is to provide guests with tours of the highest possible quality. Faithann1221’s free tour was not simply a ‘perk’. As a member of the local tourism industry, her tour was provided free-of-charge, to familiarize her with our tour and to gain constructive feedback....

We had a day trip planned to Denali National Park in the first week of July. We were a group of 8 adults and 8 kids aged (8-14). Unfortunately, it was a rainy day and our plan didn't have any room for contingencies. We were glad we took the the hop-on, hop off shuttle tour which didn't cost as much...

My family had a truly amazing time on the 8 hour bus tour through Denali National Park. In addition to some breathtaking views of the landscape, we were also lucky to be able to see the top of Mt. McKinley (now we're part of the 30% club!). We also saw lots of wildlife in their finest (caribou, moose, sheep and...

We had a blast driving the 6 weeled Argos vehicles. Tab & Tony were great guides providing a fun and relaxed tour. We hapenned to be the only tourists that morning so we receved all the attention. Driving out to the tour site (they pick you up from your hotel) gives you views and scenery as well. They also set...

I had the time of my life on this ARGO tour. I had never seen an Agro (a six wheeled ATV that floats) before visiting Alaska. The tour was amazing and the instructors were patient as they taught me how to drive. I say go go go! If you head for Alaska you have to try this.
I just got back from spending a week in Denali (7/12) with a group of girlfriends. During our time there, we hiked, rafted on Nenana, took an airplane and landed on a glacier, did ranger guided trips into the park and did the Stampede Wilderness Tour with Denali Tundra Tours.
Out of all of our adventures throughout the week, we...

Pouring rain, limited days in Denali. We opted for an ATV tour, actually an Argo tour. I don't mind getting dirty, I just didn't want to get covered in mud this day. In fact with all the splashing, floating (yes these things float) and such, we hardly we wet let alone dirty. Great time shown by our tour guide as...

We were so lucky, we saw many grizzly bears and 2 cute cubs, dall sheep, mooses, carribou, state birds, squirrel, rabbits and a clear view I'd Mt McKinley mountain.
My husband and I took the bus tour and loved it! I was worried about sitting in the bus for 8 hours but had no problem. We had enough restroom stops, too. Our driver/guide was very knowledgeable. He knew where to look for the animals and also the names of the flowers I was interested in. He had a professional...
