Here you won't find tons of tourists taking pictures of the monkeys. You'll probably find yourself alone in the forest in their natural habitat. Bring some bananas (their favorite food) and you'll have SO much fun with them (they can be aggressive but have no fear they just love their bananas!!) You do have to pay to get in ($12.50...

Great walk up to signal station. Good info and history in signal station and amazing views of barbados from top. great for photos and something different.
There are a ton of Monkeys here! And the Wildlife reserve is next door which was fun too. But there are A LOT more Green Monkeys here than at the wildlife reseve!
The Grenade Hall Signal Station is interesting, but the exhibits are a bit sparse and not very informative (also, the audio introduction had been vandalized). I suspect that Gun Hill may be better. As far as the Forest walking trail - do not waste your time! The ticket to view the Forest is unfortunately a package deal with the Station...

If you're visiting the Wildlife Reserve, the forest is also worth a visit. Entry to the forest and signal station is included with the Wildlife Reserve fee. Some of the trails are quite steep and meander up and down the hillside, but the forest is a great way to cool off on a hot day, and makes a pleasant environment...
