We had a young kid dive off the area and got a huge conch shell for us. It was a birthday present. They have some local shops along the way. Go see Jackie, her grandmother was Eunice. She will make you a dress by hand and give you a great price.
The lighthouse is a great spot to visit before sunset. We have gone to the top one year and the views are very nice. We stayed recently at the Caves Resort, super place, and had a chance to view the Negril Lighthouse everyday! We have also gone there to walk up the tower. It is certainly a place to stop and see while in that part of Jamaica. Original Fresnel lens is still in place. OK, so we are LH people.
