“Great for Watching Sunsets”

The lookout on Cayman Brac's west end is a favorite of locals and tourists for enjoying some of the Brac's spectacular sunsets. If you are very lucky and watch carefully you may be able to see the famous "green flash" as the sun disappears beyond the horizon

Just down the road from the Brac Reef resort. The water is only 30' from the parking area. The shore is steeply graded coral rock from the level of wave intensity it receives. Lots of sea fans where washed up as well. We tried snorkeling off this area but the water is too shallow before it reaches the outer reef... More

This probably doesn't merit a "Very Good" since there are other, similar places all over the Caribbean. But if you're staying at a West End accommodation like (e.g.) Brac Reef Beach Resort, the West End Point Outlook is only a short walk past the Westerly Ponds heritage site. There is a small park here, but the draw is the unobstrructed... More
