The weather, the vibes, sand, gently blowing (on this occasion) palms and of course Richards. Great food, clean, happy and a wonderful choice of condiments. A great example of giving the customer what they want!

A nice beach, but best part was Richards bake n Shark. Don't bother with the others as Richards is by far the best. About …£3 per person gets you a wonderful TRINIDAD speciality.

When my best Trini friend drove me to Maracas Bay and I first saw it, my eyes filled with tears at the beauty of Trinidad's most famous beach. Parrots, cobos and a very interesting variety of food outlets -the best food must be Shark and Bake with not too much pepper sauce!

The beach is beautiful and one of the nicest in Trinidad. If you're visiting you must enjoy the local cusine "Shark an Bake" while at the beach.

The road to Maracas Beach is always scenic because it has been carved out of the mountain, to such an extent, that in the rainy season, there are occasional landslips. But the beauty of the drive cannot be exaggerated. First stop is the look out, a must for tourists, and the view of the coast from there is probably the... More

Last Sunday, I visited Maracas bay and I enjoyed swimming in the very calm waters. I also has some very delicious salmon and chips from Mom's which is the vendor next to the famous Richard's bake and shark stall.

Maracas is loved by locals and tourists alike. Set in a wide scenic bay with a variety of local cuisine available, the most famous being the world renowned bake and shark (fish sandwich), the Maracas experience can be either relaxing or a party vibe. The first place returning Trinidadians wish to visit is Maracas to relive their childhood memories and... More

I live on this beautiful island of Trinidad and Tobago and Maracas Bay is one of my favourite beaches which I visit a couple of times per year. U can sun bathe, play with the kids on the sand and ride the waves. A must visit if you're a visitor.
