we visited argyle falls while in tobago. We stayed in a hotel very close to the airport. It only took about an hour of driving to get to the falls and it was very easy to find. Entrance fee is $40 TT which is about $6.66 pp. There are guides there that can take you up to the falls but... More

Beauty at it's best. Highly recommend. I find it crazy to hear how many people have gone to Tobago but did not partake in this most beautiful wonder that nature has to offer. The hike was short and enjoyable. Lots to see on your way to the falls. Appropriate shoes and clothing a must. Bring water shoes that you are... More

Lovely hike to the most gorgeously positioned natural treasure. Scenic view fom any angle. Easy hike with picnic area as a reward before returning to the trail entrance. Great for families to explore. The natural kiddie pool is appropriate. Easy hike for all ages.

A nice broad walk up to the waterfall suitable for any able boded adult. Cost $80 TT for us both ($20 US ea). It takes atleast 75min to walk up, have a swim and get back to the car park. Better to allow 90min or more. Lots to see and interesting trees. You can have a guide to give you... More

I was so glad I read the reviews on this site before going to Argyle Falls. The false guides were waiting at the turn-off from the road. I avoided the scam and drove on in to the real entrance. Guided tours leave every half hour and are included in the cost of admission. We were worried about our guide being... More

Small entrance charge and then short stroll to the falls and pool. Enjoyed it but there are other falls on the island you can visit just as nice.

Spactacular? No, but well worth the short walk up to the lush pools in the heat. The path is shaded from the trees, bring the kids but leave the stroller at the entrance. Can be easily enjoyed without use of guides. It has a small cost to enter, which somehow does not cover the removal of trash bags from the... More

Me and my girlfriend went to the waterfalls, as it is one of the recommended places to see in Tobago. The people in the entry area were rude and unwelcoming. They told us we had to pay 40 TT to go with a guide. We said we did not need a guide for a 10 minute walk, but they still... More

The guided tour was very interesting and entertaining and worth-while waiting for if you arrive at the wrong time. The walk to the falls is easy and not too long. The main pool is deep enough to jump into from two points, one next the the waterfall and the other on the near side of the pool. You can take... More

IMPORTANT WARNING: When you pull off the main road into Argyle Falls, you may be stopped by a "tour guide" badge, shirt and all. He offered a tour to the "private" falls for 50TT. I refused to pay saying it was expensive. After I got to the falls and paid the entry fee, i was offered a free tour guide... More
