My wife and I went here on our last day of our honeymoon. The Pier provide an awesome view of the surrounding area and if you get your binoculars you will see Sandy Point. My biggest disappointment was the pier is not open open for swimming. It appears at one time they allowed people to dive off the pier and... More

This was my first night dive but one that I will never forget! The pier columns were teaming with life and they made the dive almost alien like.... a definite must for any diver!

My wife and I snorkeled here and I did a night dive. Both were awesome. The water was completely calm when we were there with no current. The corals and anemones are very colorful and varied. Make sure you swim out to the dolphins on the south side, which are some pilings from the original pier that was destroyed by... More

We happened to visit as some local kids were doing stunts off the pier and enjoyed the show. We had a blast experiencing the local activity.

We dive the pier on each trip to St. Croix. It is easy entry and a fairly easy exit and you are able to make the dive without the assistance of a dive operator. You will see an abundance of sponges that have taken over the pier pilings. You will also see alot of other "critters" such as turtles, seahorses,... More

We visited Frederiksted St. Croix in april 2013 and this is one of the most friendly places in the Caribbean! Leaving the cruiseship we were welcomed by a steeldrum band on the pier, really nice music! Then we entered the little town. Lots of little marketstands, with lovely merchandise like hand made jewelery, we bought presents for every one (including... More

This pier replaced the old one that was damaged during hurrican Hugo. Walk out and look into the deep clear water. Lots of fish. If you are lucky you might see a sea horse.

If you go to St. Croix on a cruise, it will dock in Frederiksted. The business' facing the ocean are beautiful but if you go 1 block back you are in the hood. Sign up for a tour to go to Christensted it's nicer.

While it is possible to have a great time browsing in the stores, they are nothing terribly special. However, the pier provides great snorkel and dive experiences. There are many fish and other critters that live or visit the pier that you will rarely see elsewhere. For those who are beginners in either snorkeling or SCUBA, the pier provides an... More

We saw more fish here than at any other location. Also a huge collection of corals and sponges. We heard there were sea horses and eels but we didn't dive down to check it out. It might seem like you are in no man's land but just jump in and snorkel the pier and moorings.
