Trunk Bay is the busiest of all the bay facilities but has all the equipment to rent. You have to pay to get in and has an underwater snorkel trail. We didn't have time to make it out to the trail so I can't tell you if it's still good. More

Trunk Bay is beautiful, the facilities are well maintained; however, it was our second time in St John and we no longer have a desire to visit trunk bay again. The woman at the counter where the drinks/snacks are served was extremely rude not just to my husband, but to other people while he was waiting. that totally turned him... More

This beach is totally worth the visit. But I found that It was decently small and the snorkeling trail was not great. If you go there, unless you have small children I would recommend going all the way around the cay. It can get choppy out there so look out! I would recommend going after 4:00 pm because after then,... More

Very nice facilities (bathrooms, showers) and all well maintained. Yes, it attracts a lot of people, but there is a lot of beach. It is gorgeous! More

We love it here. The drinks are awesome. The only disadvantage is the crowds. More

Beach nice, but so are all the others! Coral was pretty much dead from all the people. It is a pay to enter park, which we didn't realize, so that tells you how many people are there. Choose another if you want some snorkeling and fewer people. More

We cruised to St. Thomas and caught the taxi ($10.pp) to the ferry going to Trunk Bay ($6.pp and runs every hour on the hour). Once we arrived, we took a 20 minute ride by truck to the beach. It was breathtaking! Named one of the most beautiful in the world and rightfully so. Admission is regularly $4. but was... More

We recently returned from a one-week trip to St. John. As others have mentioned, the snorkeling here is really just so-so. And yes, it can get crowded in a hurry! On the day we visited Trunk Bay, the water was very calm, so it was a really easy snorkel. So long as the water is calm, this would be a... More

Beautiful beach!! I really liked that they had a snack bar and snorkel gear rental. The snorkel trail was a lot of fun. Even though you have to pay an admission to get into Trunk Bay it is well worth it! More

Trunk doesn't have it's reputation for being the most beautiful beach for no reason. The water and the beach are quite stunning. We must have picked a good day as it wasn't overcrowded. A must see! More
