On first sight, the costera appears to be a traffic laden main street in a big city, with some areas along the way, shall we say, not meticulously maintained. Upon closer inspection, however, it is replete with many, many attractions and lots of character. We have also found the costera to be very safe either traveling by bus, taxi, or... More

The costera is considered the "main" tourist street in golden Acapulco. You can find almost all types of restaurants depending on the area, since is is quiet long. At night there much more people, this includes sales people who WILL get in your face. This, along with an infinite number of honking taxis make walking along the costera a pain... More

What a joy it is to walk down Acapulco's Costera more so at night when it's cooler. The wonderful shops, lights and a few yards and you on to the sandy beaches with its warm sands even at night and crashing waves and light lit mountains.

Long long avenue full of shops, cafes and nightclubs. Ideal to spend an afternoon away from the sun. There is also a Walmart on the Costera if you aare self catering or if you just want some goodies!

This is a very busy 4 lane highway with tons of hotels, nightclubs, restaurants, tourist markets, and of course, the beach. Take your time to savour the sounds, smells, and sights as well as the food and especially the Mexican hospitality.

It needs more care, many of the restaurants and buildings now are deserted. Heavy traffic and police is not controlling it. Buildings block the sea view.

Wonderful place for a walk, day or evening. Especially from the Flag to Diana Circle. So much to see and eat.

Acapulco, as New York is a city that never sleeps. so if you decide to walk down Costera Miguel Aleman, at every corner there is an "antro" for drinking some tequila´s shots, and dancing as well.
