It is actually called "Sinfonia del Mar" and I remember as a child this was the place to go and watch the sunset, presence some local shows and dance performances (which I was at some time part of) and see the couples become romantic and some groups of comers to drink away their juvenile joy and their more romantic states...

We love when we can attend the Friday night concerts. We were very sad this year that the concerts were starting in February right after we left.

The place is awesome, but it is dirty and sometimes the locals go there to get drunk in the parking lot.

As has been said in word and song, "The best things in life are free". And so it is with La Sinfonia. How fitting it is that Acapulco, with such legendary sunsets, has a special place to witness those sunsets, in semi-circular, coliseum style seating facing the Pacific Ocean to the west. Both the seating and the sunset are free....

A great place to sit and relax while watching one of Acapulco's picture perfect sunsets. An open air theater with many rows of seats to relax and take pictures of the unobstructed view of the Pacific and La Quebrada. Worth visiting while taking in the Cliff diver show.
