We love to climb up and get views over a city and this was a great option.... You can see the islands, the port, the water treatment plant and the whole city - lovely!

I am always looking for ways to fight the calories while on vacation so I enjoyed the hike up the light house hill but it is a fairly strenuous walk and it's pretty hot out there! I wouldn't recommend it to little kids, older folks or out of shape vacationers. Great views up there though!

We walked to the lighthouse and was worth the walk but its a very long walk and once you think you are there, there are 350 more stairs.... was a long walk and a funny story now...(long walk)

We've been wanting to do the lighthouse our previous 2 trips to Mazatlan and finally had an opportunity this previous trip; we certainly were not let down. The complete hike took us approximately 25 minutes, and this was with my dad who has had 2 hip replacements and walks a little slower than most. Once we got to the top,... More

We took a tour to Stone Island and had a very interesting tour guide. Food that went with it was not good.

Quite the climb, partially on uneven trails but so worth it when you get to the top and see the view.

Worth every step. Spectacular views even on the way up. Not overly strenuous. Free! Don't forget to bring water.

This is a long walk up a winding trail until you get to over 300 steps. The view from up top is amazing. You see all of Mazatlan. It takes about 25 to 30 minutes and up top you can just sit and enjoy.

It is a nice little hike; good enough to feel like you did a holiday workout. Not a serious climb or anything like that but there is a nice view to reward your effort. We went just before evening and there were many other locals getting in their exercise for the day. The socializing on the way made it fun... More
