This is one of my favorite buildings in Centro Historico. Enter the place and see its magnificent architecture.

Unchanged, unspoilt, unhurried, never bought stamps in such a stress free beautiful envoironment. Monument to civic wealth in Mexico 150 years ago, or to the fruits of monopoly?

The building is amazing, but there's not much to see. Make sure to walk around the environment, though. Ah, and watch out for pickpockets. Not exactly the kind of place to walk around at night.

This is a truly spectacular art-nuveau gem, just behind "Bellas Artes". It takes just a few minutes to visit (and photograph). Behind it, accross the street is the famous equestrian statue of Charles V (look closely, the front hoof is stepping on the Aztec calendar, a fact little known bt the ordinary Mexican), and the National Museum of Art.

Love it. Those stairs are just beautiful. It's a testimony of the opulence at the beginning of the XX century in Mexico city

I'm short of words reviewing this building. One of the most beautiful buildings i have ever seen. Inside, a lot of gold, marble, a real jewel. A must. Take lots of pictures!.

This is one of the most beautiful old buildings in Mexico City. It is kept very clean and is quite accessible while visiting the city's historical zone. I've been to Mexico City many times but had never had an opportunity to visit
