Costa Azul Surf School is the place to go if you want to learn to surf - or even if you are just looking for a fun activity. I have had surf lessons from Costa Azul surf school and each time has been wonderful. I did not need any prior surfing experience to have a blast on the first day... More

My family of five took surf lessons during on vacation in San Jose Del Cabo. The service at Costa Azul had excellent service and the instructors were knowledgeable and helpful. They set you up with wet suits and water shoes and also had chairs and water available for us down at the beach.

Today I took a surfing class with these guys and it was one of the most amazing experiences ever. They were very professional and extremely dedicated to ensuring everyone got up surfing successfully. Everyone at this surf shop is friendly and very helpful. I loved it and highly recommend it. Thanks guys

Costa Azul Surf School is top notch and I couldn’t recommend it more highly. The first time I had a lesson I had no surfing experience. Alex and his team educate you so well on the basics, that it is impossible to not catch on. They break things down step by step so you fully understand the fundamentals needed to... More

we went to Cerritos beach again today and asked about surf lessons- ROY not only offered to give us tips but helped us so much with trying to surf. he spent time with us trying to catch waves and was in no hurry at all. The board is $10 for the day same as a boogie board. Do not rent... More

We went to Costa Azul Surf school this week after having a positive recommendation from Air Canada vacations. We were a group of 9 celebrating our recent wedding and each one of us had a blast. From the pickup to drop off we were provided with great entertainment in a safe and comfortable learning atmosphere. None of us had any... More

Not to be missed--a great experience and I will be back. I am a kook used to conquering the huge, brown waves in Galveston, TX. Never having taken a lesson, I had a 2-hour session with Sergio who had me up on the board in no time. He is a very patient instructor and I learned a ton about catching... More

I'm mid 40s and a "bit" outta shape. Wife is mid 30s. The guys pushed us around until we figured out how to do it. They worked their arses off, and made sure we had fun. They had chairs and an umbrella set up at the surf beach when we arrived. Only complaint is that the surf is pocked with... More

I had the best expierence for my first surf lesson. Tried surfing in Maui once without having a lesson and just renting the board. I never caught a wave. But not with Costa Azul "Alex" and his very qualified team. They had my safety at first hand always. My second try I surfed all the way to shore, was scared... More
