We were there Jan 12 to the 19th, 2013 and enjoyed it very much. Yes, the beach is not what it used to be, but it is still wonderful!!! Very quiet, not too busy. They were working very hard to make it better while we were there. Always raking and moving sand to improve what is there. They even removed...

First let me say..I love PA..BUT..the beach is gone..what used to be one of the best beaches in the Caribbean has disappeared..everybody points the finger at the other guy..no one wants to fix it..there is a very small area in front of Chac..where there is some sand..but not enough sand to stick your head in..(where most of heads are)...the beach...

We just love it. The white sand and snorkeling right off the beach area (can walk to it).
