Such a beautiful place! And the guides are knowledgeable and eager. Really enjoyed a Christmas visit, with the smell of gingerbread wafting through the house. Charming.

I love this little place; it's wonderful for a proper cup of tea and also great for high tea. Edmonton really lacks a good, English-style tea house, so this is a welcome option compared to all the tea chains that serve lack-lustre tea.

I had lunch there with my ladies group and the food was just okay. It is a beautiful old house and we enjoyed it very much.

I was fortunate to accompany my Grandson and his class on a field trip. What a lovely experience, all the staff are friendly encouraging and full of knowledge. Lots of stimulation for the kids while encouraging respect for our history and artifacts. Also attended a commitment ceremony here a few years back. What a wonderful site for an intimate ceremony.

Rutherford House is a quaint place for lunch or afternoon tea. The menu is unique and offers some of the traditional English Tea selections. All in all, a very pleasant location to meet friends.

Fantastic afternoon tea! A wide range of teas from which to select, fabulous little sandwiches, scones and other pastries. Incredible Lady Grey tea, which I had never had before, but surely will again when I am back there. The only flaw was that they did not sell the tea leaves they offer. Too bad. I would have really loved to... More

Our visit to Rutherford House was fantastic – well above our expectations. Firstly it is in excellent condition staffed by people who really know their stuff. We had a great personal tour by Louise, who was a fund of interesting information on the family, the house and the history of both. The house is beautiful, is in a wonderful state... More

The house is not just beautiful, it is a gem full of Alberta's history. I have visited a few times, and each and every time I appreciate it more.
