Stanley Park is absolutely an amazing and beautiful place for all kinds of activities. It's great to go to with kids, with your dog, with friends or just on your own to enjoy the nature. It gives Vancouver a unique and very green touch. Prospect Point, which is in the park is especially worth visiting. Also, the bike paths in... More

Walked and cycled around the park stopping for a picnic on one of the beaches. Then jumped on a ferry to Granville Island for a walk around the market, food stores and art galleries. Don't miss it!

Be sure to walk on the paths around Beaver lake. The rain forest is great. The rose garden is exceptional also. The statue of a woman in a wet suit was ok to skip.

Take the Vancouver Trolley for a complete loop around the park. OK to hop on and off all day for neat restaurants and view spots. Also there are horse-drawn wagons of all sizes.

This was a beautiful place which we visited on a very sunny day as part of a sight-seeing tour from our cruise ship. It was also the biggest pakr we had ever visited to the best of my knowledge. The Vancouver Marathon was also taking place which added to the atmosphere of the place. The flower displays were beautiful, as... More

This is kind of the "Central Park" version of the North West of the continent. Huge park within the city. Just awesome from wherever you see it. Go to the aquarium and find the totems. Just awesome. If you go to Vancouver and don't visit Stanley Park is like not knowing Vancouver Canada.

We rented bikes and went around the seawall and a few of the biking trails that cut through the center of the park. It was a lot of fun and the park was pretty.

We first encounter S. Park 25 years ago intending to return. This year we did and were amazed at the changes but not dissapointed. The horse drawn carriage is a must. A bicycle for the young is recommended. Pick up a wildlife brochure and start walking. Need new shoes.
