Amazing sunrises from the lookout, and a wonderful place to stretch your legs for a hike in the late spring and summer after the snow is gone. See vancouver and the Islands in all their glory!

I love being able to ski lots of terrain within half an hour of my home. When it snows overnight, get up there early and stay late. on line snow reports are not always very accurate; slushy conditions were found when the report stated powder was to be found top to bottom. The silver season's pass is good value.

We had a big group of us that went, the day was overcast and snowing, which was great for all us Aussies playing in the snow. The staff were friendly and very helpful, and everyone had a great time snow tubing.

This is the first tiem we have been in a Vancouver Area Ski Resort and it was a blast! The area is easily reachable from Vancouver and it has all the amenities you expect from a top-rated ski area. My daughter took her first Snowboarding lesson and she loved it. The staff is super-friendly, the rental equipment is top-notch (the... More

Amazing views - not many places in the world with a view of the city like that from the ski hill! We went downhill skiing with our kids who are newish skiers (less than 5 times) and they were able to handle the green runs there just fine. Lifts were great, staff were helpful and friendly. Parking was a bit... More

depending on the season, you can do it all in one day: xc ski, dh ski or board, dh mountain bike, xc mountain bike, road bike, walk, hike, then have a snack in a restaurant and photograph the view right in vancouver's backyard!

Fun time there even if you don't ski. We tried the tube park, great fun on a day that was cloudy in vancouver, but sunny at the tube park. We enjoyed a great sunset at the end of the day, an added bonus.

If you don't ski, you can still enjoy the views. The road up has viewing spots along the way up. Of course the skiing is very good and very close to the city.

Its a great place to ski at for a day. If you had a chance to ski and you had to choose between grouse and cypress i would say go to cypress. Its a bit more expencive but you get much more terrain for your money. I am not saying anything against grouse mountain though, i love grouse. I go... More
