If you like Tractors, Old engines etc. O'Keefe is worth a visit. Lots to see and do, See how people in the okanagon lived years ago. Very interesting little church, house and cabin.
I live in Vernon, and I still never get tired of visiting O'Keefe. You get a real sense of pioneering in the Okanagan Valley here, and have a great time doing it. The employees are pleasant and helpful, and the tour of the O'Keefe home is fascinating. There are wagon rides and animals to visit and a real old-fashioned general... More
We went to the Murder Mystery performance on Saturday, October the 5th. 2013. The show was sold out and a great success. You get clues during the evening and then your table has to find the murderer. It is a lot of fun because first of all you meet new people and second it gets your brain motivated trying to... More
The tour is a great fit for couples or family's with older children that would have a better understanding of the history of the ranch. Also is worth it to read the history of the ranch before going there just gives you that much more of a perspective of what life was like living on the place and to remember... More
Took the tour and perused the museum. Not much to make a day of. History is neat, but not that old. Really didn't take to long. Was just a quick jaunt except for the lady who guided us through the first floor of the house. That was interested, but then we were on our own.
Show fit for all members of the family - well done by Rob Dinwoodie and side kicks. Relaxing evening. Dinner started with steak corn on the cob 2 salads baked potatoes and a bun and then dessert and coffee. They entertained us during the meal but the highlight was after the meal we sat around a fire and listened to... More
Although I have been visiting the ranch for decades, I decided I needed another visit with a young friend who had never been, as well as my 14 year old in tow. The tour guide who took us through the manor house was a wonderful young fellow who told us some historical facts I had yest to hear . We... More
We had family in town for a family reunion, and about 10 of them took in Okeefe Ranch, going for lunch and a tour. When they came in, they told the staff they were there for lunch and a tour. It was suggested to them to do the tour first, which they did. They found the tour of the mansion... More
We came to the ranch to spend some time before going to our hotel. Saw some farm animals -- couldn't find the kittens in the barn-- and went on the O'Keefe house tour. Was interesting (great guide) but was a bit boring for our 11 year old son. Okay for an hour to do. Not much staff interaction.
