Government House is one of those preserved gems that are hard to find in the "new world". Great lengths have been taken to preserve the house in its 19th century glory. It's a quick visit but worth it.

Beautiful restored stone building with fine antique furniture including pieces by Thomas Nisbet, Master Cabinetmaker from early 1800's

Was alright, hae been in other cities and everyong seems to have old period homes. Nothing special, would not do again.

Most interesting home in New Brunswick. Recent $6 Million restoration that shows this 1880s building at its best. First two floors are restored to their original use, in their original or reproduction furnishings.
