Last evening I had the privilege of having a unique experience in the heart of our city. With a group of 12 in a large heritage canoe, we all paddled over to Toronto Island for a gourmet picnic. En route we paddled by a few bird sanctuaries, visited the former site of grand hotel and paid hommage to Babe Ruth... More

Chef Scott knows how to pick the yummy food spots, to engage the group along the way with great stories about Toronto's history, and provides helpful restaurant advice, too. I took the Leslieville Riverside Tour, which I would highly recommend. A fun and delicious way to spend a Saturday afternoon!

Perfect way to spend Mother's Day. My boys, their girlfriends and myself went on Chef Scott's Leslieville tour. The people in our group were aged 20-24 (except me) and all of us had a great time! Chef Scott was wonderful! He knows a lot about the history of the area, is knowledgeable about food and had so many wonderful stories... More

I wasn't sure what to expect but this turned out phenomenal. The tour is a blend of Toronto history and great food. I have lived in the city for over ten years but realized just how much there is left to be discovered - and I need to thank our guide Chef Scott for that. He's a remarkably knowledgable person... This was the perfect way to start my 5 day vacation in Toronto! Chef Scott was knowledgeable, funny, engaging, and an all-around great tour guide. He not only shared with us some great stories about the Riverside and Leslieville neighborhoods, but we tasted some amazing food (butter tarts, cuban sandwiches, fresh fish, and ice cream, to say the least) and... On a lovely May Saturday during our brief visit to Toronto, we took the Riverside/Leslieville tour and can't recommend it enough. It was an incredible way to get to know impressive spots in Toronto that we never would have known about--from the incredible community service that is St. John's bakery to Hooked, "the Knowledgeable Fish Store," which taught us about... Chef Scott....Thank you for the fantastic evening with you on our Little Italy tour. We don't know when we have relaxed quite so fully as we did during the tour with you. We especially enjoyed the fresh food you and the wine of your choice, This kind of evening can be the highlight of a whole summer, as it has... More

My hubby and I did the Riverside/Leslieville tour with Chef Scott and his sidekick Jason on Sat. April 27th. It was an amazing day spent in the company of great people. Chef Scott is a professional, an excellent tour guide, and a great person. He made us feel welcome and how to "live like the locals"!! The shops we visited... More

On a very sunny Spring Saturday our foodie tour of Riverside/Leslieville started at the corner of Queen Street East and Broadview Avenue. I was a bit reluctant to join in but my wife had arranged it for her and a couple of our friends. I pass through this neighbourhood twice a day on my way to work in downtown Toronto... More

We did the Riverside / Leslieville tour with Chef Scott a couple of weekends ago. The website said there were no places free but we were only in Toronto for one Saturday and really wanted to do the tour so we called up and were allowed to come. Despite the weather conditions it was a great few hours spent with... More
