When in Toronto, the TSO is always worth the price of admission. It is a finely tuned ensemble and presents good programming with top notch soloists.

If you need a substantial reason to visit Toronto here is one to speak about for days after your departure. Whether hearing the Toronto Symphony is like going to hear the best of the best else where I will leave that to you to decide. I will say however that this is a great city for just hearing classical music.... More

What an experience! This was the best part about visiting Toronto. Jonathon Bell and Edgar Meyer also performed with the orcherstra. Roy Thomson Hall is great too. Reasonably priced tickets for young adults.

I love going to the TSO, must go if you are in toronto. Ive been to symphonies in several different cities and nothing has topped a TSO performance. If you are under 35 you can get SUPER cheap tickets if you sign up for "tsoundcheck"

Exceptional entertainment, Roy Thomson Hall has outstanding acoustics. Not a bad seat in the house. Has a very intimate feel. The family Christmas concert is a MUST - very entertaining. My young children can be entertained, and I can enjoy beautiful classical music.

Several of us visited the Science Centre, aged from 13 to 83 years old and we all enjoyed it! We visited on a school day, so there were lots of youngsters around but it is a large centre, so it was not a problem The only disappointment was that it closed at 16.00, it seemed very early but until then... The orchestra is getting better and better - much more energy under Peter Oundjian than previous conductors. I love his combination of a popular work with something less known for a concert. Keep it up!

I love the music, the acoustics, the programming, the conductor and the guest soloists. The last concert showcased the principal flutist(flautist!) and harpist both of whom are world class artists. If you love classical music you will love this jewel. If you have never visited, you are in for a treat. Richard Oundjian, the conductor, brings erudition passion and vitality... More

If you are in Toronto you cannot miss a performance or two of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra at Roy Thompson Hall. The Conductor Peter Oundgian is a superb Maestro, and the musicians are excellent; both Conductor and musicians truly enjoy performing high quality music from classical to pop. Roy Thompson Hall in itself is a sight to be seen, very... More
