This cant really compete with st lawerence market in toronto. Not a lot of variety, There is no a must-try food or stall here, bu the all the fruit stalls are amazing arranged. Florists are big part of market, all outdoor. Inside the building are deli shops, cheese shops, pasta shops, and a pretty amazing bakery with like a huge... More

The fresh produce, meat, cheese and bakery items all look wonderful. Shared a small pizza at Pizza Mia; wonderful flavor then headed to the bakery to have coffee and share a couple of desserts. Everything is so beautifully presented it was a tough decision. I think any choice you make will be wonderful.

We enjoyed our quick visit to the market. Parking was available onsite, if somewhat limited, and the market itself has a variety of shops to pop into and explore. The bakery, in particular, had some lovely loafs on display; we found ourselves wishing our stomachs were big enough to take it all in! Great place to pick up some local... More

Fresh fish, fruit, cheeses, meats. flowers and more. Check out the Fromagerie in the middle of the market. They have fantastic suggestions and let you sample the cheeses. They also have a room of beer from around the world and local Quebec beers. The market is not overwhelming and we went back twice. There is a liquor store across the... More

Although the market isn't a s big as St. Lawrence maket in Toronto, it's still worth to visit. The bakery shop is my favorite one, coffee taste great and cakes delicious . And don't miss the pizza shop on the ground floor. If u like seafood , there are different shops to sell crabs, lobsters. Of course, variety stores for... More

Great market experience - huge abundance of great cheese, meats and seafoods. Also maple syrup and fresh-baked goods ... but it was the second floor coffee roaster that drew me in. The aromas were amazing and the selection of great roasts very good too!

Went there 2x in 5 days only bought desserts, the fruit looked ready fresh and meats mostly interesting marinated items or deli meats. Only 2 rows of shops, one row of fruits & veggies the other for meat. Chocolate shop was at one end & sushi take out was at the other. Nothing else to see but a basic convenience... More

We'd read about Atwater Market in Montreal, but couldn't believe how great it actually was until we experienced it for ourselves. The Fromagerie Du Marche is amazing. We're lucky we don't live closer; our wallets would be empty and our clothes too tight! The staff patiently explained many of the cheeses in their extensive cheese collection and then proceeded to... A visit to the Atwater Market in Montreal is a must! The bottom floor has vendor booths of fresh fruits and vegetables (even in Feb.), and shops with cheese, wine and condiments. Upstairs, there are booths with fresh meat, sausages and racks of ribs. The star for us was the bakery/cafe Premiere Moison Boulangerie. They offer fresh, artisan loaves of... More

I make a habit of searching out markets to wander around . This one we found whilst on a day cycling along the nearby canal . What an excellent place - a great historic building packed with vibrant stalls piled high with wonderful local produce - fruit & veg , meats and Deli products . The market apron is jammed... More
