The quarter looks like in a movie. Everything is finely restored and refurbished. Of course it is very touristy, nevertheless you should not miss this quarter during a visit to Quebec.

By far the nicest area outside of any of the Europeans best destination. Ambiance, Joie de Vivre, History. Great shopping as well. A must!

This is the best place to shop for unique pieces of art. I especially liked the artists Coop shop. Fun to walk the narrow streets and tried the Funicular to the top.

A charming street full of interesting stores and nice restaurants! But they are all expensive... so you can just window shopping, it is fun too! Enjoy your time and walk slow to appreciate here!

This small area has a collection of very nice restaurants, art galleries, stores, all in very cute buildings and very well decorated storefronts.

nice to walk around but quite tourist-y with lots of novelty/souvenir shops. Interesting "donkey milk" product store at closest street to water

Spent an afternoon. Very enjoyable browsing through the shops. Some a little too touristy but visited and observed glass blowing, an artist\s co-op and other places with hand-made items.

nice shops and views across the river. Be prepared for some cardio....lots of stairs! close to chateau frontenac as well, so you can finish your visit of the area with a drink in their lobby bar. Perfect!

Head down the finiculaire - a short 'railway' - more like a glass elevator on tracks - down the cliff side to the old area of cobbled streets, cosy restaurants and bars, and a range of small stores - some great leather and fur down there. Some shops are tacky tourist - kind of goes with the territory, but generally... More
