Being from Moose Jaw, this is a must see. The Snowbirds wing is very impressive; don't miss it. The display of locomotive equipment is huge, and you can go right in. You may have seen many of the cars, but I guarantee you haven't seen them all!

This museum is filled with trains, boats, planes, cars, the Snowbirds and other historical displays. Our group ranging in age from 3 to 65 were impressed. This particular weekend they also had an Easter egg craft and paper egg hunt for the kids. We were also allowed to visit the museum on two consecutive days for the same entrance fee....

This museum has unique displays from all over Saskatchewan. There are trains, cars, planes, even a small planetarium. Many old bicycles are also in the collection.
If you have any interest in transportation this is the place to see. With going on school trips a couple times and this time going with my wife I was still amazed how a person can miss looking at some things even on the 3rd visit. It is for sure seeing but give yourself time to enjoy as their is...

We have been to museums all over the world and to many that seek to recreate the past. This is one of the best and deserves to be better known. We went to see the Sukanen ship which was built by a local man hoping to sail back to Finland - check the map. The ship was a very evocative...

For those people who do not remember the "old" days this is the place to go. They also have a wonderful gift shop.
excellent museum. I went to see the exhibition of hooked rugs (outstanding) but stayed to see all the rest of the museum. I was impressed.
This is a really interesting place if you like to learn about the history of a place you are visiting or you need to kill time. Sometimes in Saskatchewan cities there is not a great deal to do, so this fits the bill
Very well presented collection of old and not-so-old cars, snowmobiles and aircraft. Also excellent presentations of other aspects of prairie history. This being Saskatchewan, the North American home of medicare, there is an informative history of medical care in Saskatchewan. Very well worth a visit of a few hours.
Lots of interesting stuff to see. Check out the "SnowBirds" display. Took my grandchildren there for a trip down memory lane. I think they really enjoyed all the exhibits. A different Museum experiance for the family.
