Very beautiful scenic area. Only about a 45 minute drive from South Lake Tahoe. Make sure you bring a camera and maybe a tripod (to get yourselves in the pictures).

This is a wonderful spot , worth a stop to see the island from the top and the small castle. Pay attention on the water and bay entrance. Great. very Scenic, spent several photos here! Wroth the visit.
Well worth a trip from Tahoe. The views are stunning. The drive is a bit circuitous, but worth the trip.
