So glad we spent a day here! It was impossible to get a day pass for the spa, so we signed up for the mindfulness day. It was a full, silly, relaxing day of pool exercises, hot and cold springs, mud baths, walking on rocks for some footwork, sauna, and then a sound bath (not sure what else to call it!) that was amazing. We had some time to explore the spa for a few hours on our own too, and enjoyed the massive buffet lunch and some wine at the hotel restaurant. It is difficult to get to this spot without a car of your own or staying at a bigger hotel in Mendoza, but we made cabs work!

This was a great experience. The hot springs were very relaxing and the facilities were nice. The staff at the hotel were very helpful.

Be careful! Read the reviews on the place here on TripAdvisor before booking. It seems there has been hardly anyone visiting within the last year who did not have a terrible experience.
Beside that prices are just mad. Even if you compare the prices at the blue exchange rate this spa is currently at around €50 for a day. This is the same price as a spa in Europe with much higher standards, more amenities, higher labour cost and energy cost. There seems to be something wrong with this place, it can't be that you can't get more for your money in Argentina.

We booked this online before travelling to Argentina. At just £85 for the two of us including lunch it seemed a fair price to try something a little different.
The hotel is an hour’s drive from Mendoza - we used our hire car but the hotel offers a pick up service for an additional charge.
The spa is a nice set up. A variety of indoor and outdoor pools all at different temperatures. It seemed crowded at times but it was still enjoyable. The only downer was a very rude male staff member at the spa remonstrating with us in English for “coming to Argentina and not being able to speak Spanish” - the only hostile reaction we encountered in the entirety of our three week holiday.
The lunch was a good spread with meats, veggies, salad and desserts.

Our full day spa experience flew by at Termas Cacheuta. We were initially apprehensive about the cleanliness of a hot springs from past experiences in other places, but this resort was impeccable. Friendly staff, lots of spots to relax in different temperature pools, and a beautiful ground to just lounge in sun or shade. The lunch (included) was amazing, and the beverages for purchase were very reasonably priced.

These natural thermal pools and spa are located alongside the Mendoza river, approximately 1 hour drive from Mendoza city. The cost (~43US$ per person) to visit the pools includes a lunch buffet which reportedly is really nice but we had lunch plans at a nearby winery so we didn't eat there. If you want to visit the thermal pools only without having to pay for the lunch then you can only do it in the afternoon (from 3-6:30 pm).
Upon arriving to the spa we were greeted, checked in and provided information about the facility. Robes are available for rent and the cost is 100 Argentinian pesos for each robe. These are not really necessary while you're enjoying the pools, however you will need to have either a robe or be fully clothed once you enter the restaurant area.
After checking in we were given a tour of the facilities and then taken to the locker room/changing area which is also where the bathrooms, showers and saunas are. There are several pools, both covered and uncovered, each with varying temperatures which go from lukewarm to really hot water, a mud therapy area, a wet and a natural sauna, as well as lounging chairs. The pools are surrounded by mountains and there is so much greenery all around, truly a beautiful sight that makes this experience that much more memorable.
The drive to this place is totally worth it as it is an amazing spot for total relaxation, however if we were to visit again we probably would consider staying in the hotel for one night so we had more time to enjoy the pools and schedule some spa services.

we spend the afternoon at thermal de cacheuta Spa. We arrived at 2:30, the time that they stopped serving lunch and they happily accommodated us.
It is a buffet but still interesting lunch that makes the spa visit a complete day. I would suggest people arriving earlier since it is a pleasure to enjoy the pools of different temperatures (cold to hot), the dry sauna and the mud baths for the ones that dare.
You don't need to book the robes, they give you towels. They have cooled water to enjoy.

This place is great! We went for half a day. Would def go there again and recommend. One important note. If you go there through a taxi. There are 2 Termas Cacheuta. One local public spot for the locals and the one at this hotel. This is for the Hotel one, which is private. Be sure to go to the Termas Cacheuta Hotel and spa.

So relaxing. Our skin felt amazing afterward too. Wasn’t crowded. The pools are surrounded by mountains. The hot/ warm pools, mud masks, and the geo thermal cave were amazing. We spent the whole day. The buffet lunch was mediocre. You can rent robes and flip flops. We would definitely go back!

Great day spa. Clean, fun and scenic. For the price, lunch is included. There are river walks, zip lining and other activities.

Are you able to go into the mud baths in the winter or is it too cold? We will be traveling there next month.

I was there in May, the outside weather was cool, not bad. They had both cool, warm and hot springs to go in. Their seasons are reversed from North America's. They give you a robe to use.
