Spotted Lake is extraordinary. I would have liked to have access to at least walk closer. The local Band who now own it need to move forward to allow those genuinely interested in the healing qualities of the lake to also share this special place. Walk up and down the road and see it from all angles, depending on the... More

What a wonderful spectacle! Don't expect to get any closer than what you see in the photo, though. The lake is sacred, and you are not allowed to go any closer than several hundred metres away, from behind a fence.

We have not seen anything like this before. The area too is very interesting but the actual Spotted Lake is fascinating. After the event everyone who sees photos of the Spotted Lake comments and asks questions about it. Truly unique experience. A must see in Osoyoos.

I liked everything about it. Just wish we could get closer We were told there are 365 spots on the lake one for each day of the year. Bring some good binoculars to get a good look

I guess they are under construction or trying to raise more money for construction but there was a fence and a gate and a sign saying closed for phase one. The highway pulloff is dangerous.

We didn't know about this lake and just spotted it while driving on the highway. Learned about the history and cultural significance when we want to the centre at Nk'Mip. Beautiful circular water pools.

I pass this lake almost weekly and it is never exactly the same. The play of light on the water, the salt and the basin subtely changes the picture below you. This lake is very important to local First Nations and is a mystery, in the sense that it is unique and one of the real oddities of this good... More

Only minutes from osoyoos it this unusual creation. It is on native land and it is fenced off to the public. You can see it well from the side of the road and can easily take photos. I was unaware that they offer tours as a previous reviewer mentioned. I would have liked to learn about it. I found some... More

During my trip to Osoyoos, one thing I did not want to miss was Spotted Lake. Read so much about it and I got so intrigued by it. When I finally saw it in person, I was just so awe struck because it made me wonder how the spots on the lake were formed. I read somewhere that the spots... More
