I played this executive 9-hole course solo, twice in two days. Sonora Dunes is located behind Spirit Ridge Vineyard Resort on the east side of Osoyoos Lake. It's on the side of a mountain in the pocket desert, the northern tip of the Sonoran Desert in Arizona. The fragile ecology of the desert means that you are not allowed to... More

Excellent 9-hole golf course with 1 par 5 in a dessrt setting and staff were very pleasant. Recommend using a power cart and a discount if staying at Spirit Ridge.

We have played this course twice. (two years apart). We came back because we loved the first round we played, in spite of seeing a rattle snake sunning himself in the upper 7th tee box. This time we were told that there had been a cougar sighting. We saw scat and tracks but NO wildlife this time. A truly scenic... More

This 9 hole course provides fantastic views of the desert, mountain, vineyard and lake. It is a beautiful golf course. Can be challenging but the 6th hole requires some uphill walking if you are walking the course.

Very reasonably priced for the quality of golf. Is only a 9 hole course but every hole presents excellent challenges for golfers of all levels.

We played this course recently and were amazed at the fabulous condition of the course. It is beautifully manicured and maintained. The course itself is decievingly challenging especially the greens ! We had lunch there which was delightful and fresh. The employees were friendly and informative. The highlight is the pair of nesting peregrins at the end of the first... More

This area is a golfers paradise, not to mention the wineries, the hotel, (even if you don't leave it) and again, that staff, I just love it there, It is truly a mini holiday (short or a longer one).

Pressed for time? Prefer 9 holes? Well this is the place for you! Immaculately cared for, this golf course is situated in the picturesque valley of the Osoyoos desert. The topography is stunning, the quality of the fairways and greens excellent. The staff were friendly, helpful, and it wasn't too busy which was a bonus for us. They had a... More

Nice track challenging, but not too difficult. Don't wander looking for your lost ball, as there be rattlesnakes in them thar hills! its up and down over hilly terrain, so don't plan on walking it unless you want a good workout, Power carts are a safer bet. Price point was good, try to dress the part when you play too,... More
