Great location. Mary the guide was awesome and patient. Horses well behaved and very healthy. 2 hour trip just right for us. Really enjoyed the experience. Highly recommend.

We had been so busy this summer with very little time off that we decided that a trail ride might be just the relaxation that we needed. We checked several, and I had always been interested in visiting the B&B at old entrance! I phoned and booked a date with a very pleasant lady, who was very pleasant to talk... More

This is one of the most beautiful locations on the earth to visit. The horses are calm and the guide was well trained and enforced safety. I can't imagine how nice it would be to retire in a place like this so if you get a chance, get out there! The stables are so close to both Hinton and Jasper... More

Stayed with my wife in Hinton for the weekend. We visited a lot of places but this was the highlight of our trip! We went on an hour long ride in the mountains and it was amazing. It ended up being longer than an hr including a stop on top a beautiful hill. The horses were amazing, well behaved, very... More

What can I say but, "Wow!". The trail rides that we took were beautiful. Mary, our guide, was friendly, took the time to let the kids help get the horses ready and taught them about horses and riding throughout the process. We didn't know how our 6 year old would do but quickly saw that she was more then fine... More

Called and made a same day reservation. We were actually staying in Jasper, but none of the local horseback options appealed to us, so we drove out to Hinton. We are so glad we found this place. Quiet, beautiful ride along the Athabasca River. We did the mountain view loop and it was a great mix of scenery. Some light... More

My family stayed in a tepee at old entrance and had two trail rides over two days. Log cabins are also available. The rides were extremely enjoyable in the care of our guide Mary. Mountain air, spectacular views and competent and gentle horses, this is an experience not to be missed. We really enjoyed staying in the teppe and the... More

I recently went on the 3 hour trail ride with my friend who is a novice rider. Mary provided calm sensible horses which made everyone feel safe on the mountain terrain. The views were spectacular! Up on the ridge overlooking the Athabasca River, with the colours of fall highlighting the glistening trees, and the snow capped Rockies as a back... More
