If you are planning on a trip across Vancouver Island, make time in your schedule to stop over in Port Alberni and go on Sandy McRuer's Waterfall tour. We had a wonderful time on the waterfall excusion. Not only were the hikes to the waterfalls themselves terrific but we learned so much about the flora and fauna of the region. “Great tour with lots of interesting stops”

We had visited area before but found it much more pleasant with Sandy's guiding. We did a tour of the old growth forest with plenty of fish left behind by the bears and then we toured some of the best spots to see the salmon migration. We learned lots and got great photos.
