This is a lovely place to go for a walk any time of the year & very popular with locals . Great views , wildlife on water & a nice Cafe to stop at for refreshments at end of walk or as a destination for breakfast , coffee or lunch .

We went from 31st street all the way past the air park and into downtown. great walk, sight-seeing and friendly people

This level paved parkway is the best way to take in the seasonal changes. Spotting eagles, swans, ducks, herons and geese from various park benches, or watching planes take off overhead, watching kayakers on the river - it's al there right next to the Courtenay Rhodo garden, parking lot and Park Cafe.

the playground is awesome and the kids all love it. the walking/running biking loop trail borders the estuary so it's teaming with birds and gorgeous views, but is also very exposed to the wind, so dress for wind, even in summer

The walk way waseasy to find, easy to walk, flat the whole way, wheelchair friendly, got me off my butt and outside. We walked both ways and found it took a very short while to walk downtown if using walkway

Love the airpark for roller blading...2 to 3 times a week, spring, summer and fall. nice to hang with the ocean and birds while working out.

Highly recommended for breakfast or lunch. Very friendly staff, large servings of homemade food at reasonable prices. Enjoy your meal and watch the small aircraft take-off and land. Make sure you try the soup and homemade pie!

Great food, great service, great location. Lunch is a local fav.. Fresh scones, cinny buns & muffins.

wonderful place to dog walk by the sea, view the trumpeter swans and birdlife, watch the planes come and go, and get some fresh air....a gem in the valley
