Great view of the Badlands area...we drove the circuit from there and took the ferry to the otherside of the river. Went down and hiked a bit in Horsethief Canyon and got great pics!

On the North Dinosaur Trail. Beautiful view of the Badlands. The badlands in Badlanda National Park are more impressive. The best part of this canyon was how few people were there. Go late (or early) in the day so the colors of the canyon stand out more!

This is out in the middle of wheat country. Hiking paths abound. A small version of the US badlands. I watched a prairie dog for 10 minutes here. Pictures did not do it justice.... But it's a long way out of your way.

Definitely a must-stop if you are in the area. The photo opportunities were limitless. Seems very popular with tourists, a lot stopped when we were there.
