beautiful flowers and shrubs, impressive trees, fountains, easy layout with lots of information, places to sit and enjoy the views, different themed gardens, good cafe and restaurant and shopping, plenty of parking space, umbrellas provided, perfect despite the rain. wish we could have seen the fireworks!

The gardens have over one million plants, all artistically arranged with not a blade or petal out of place. Special colored lighting illuminates the gardens on summer evenings and musical entertainment fills the air.

I found out that you are allowed (even encouraged) to walk your dog around the gardens. They will rent leashes, they staff gave my dog a treat, and all water is labled if it is not drinkable. The dog specific water is not stagnant and runs fresh. The tourists will sometimes take photos if they like your dog. They will...

Buy an annual pass and go as often as you can! Ride every animal on the merry go round. Have a peppermint hot chocolate in the snow in the winter and enjoy the 12 days of Christmas. It's world class and a real delight.

Beautiful! The Sunken garden and the Japanese Garden was the best. We were to early for the Rose garden, but still - flowers everywhere..The time goes quick, plan at least 2-3 hours for the walk in the garden. The garden is worth the visit if you are in the Victoria area.

The gardens are a delight! The grounds are truly spectacular and the spring blooms were beautiful. Lunch in the Dining Room was a perfect way to end the day.

The beauty of the gardens never ceases to amaze visitors.
It was about time to take our children to see this for themselves. The colours were stunning, the variety unending. We went on an Easter weekend and the kids had the chance to participate in the egg hunt. That in itself provided all the adventure they needed.
