A great experience for all ages. They even have a lift on board for the less agile visitors. This is the second time I have visited and enjoyed it even more than last time. A feat of engineering and a tribute to a great man.

Took my boyfriend here for a little trip and he loves anything mechanical and to do with history.
A very interesting ship that you can walk underneath and see all its workings including the rudder which was an advance for the time including the propeller. Inside the ship itself there is plenty to see including its inner workings and how...

Very impressive journey with the ss Great Britain. You get to understand the history of this ship throughout the 19th / 20th century and just navigate through the broader history of british navy and Bristol industrial past. Great also to be able to figure out how life on board must have been.
The various parts of the exhibitions are all...

i was not really that excited about going but this really is an attraction worthy of 5 stars, attention to detail is amazing. if you are in Bristol make a B-line for it

The ship is amazing and we enjoyed imagining all the sights and sounds that must have been seen and heard. The children's experiences were fantastic and all...

This wonderful ship is well preserved and extremely interesting to visit and great fun for kids to explore.
Good explanatory museum prior to entering the ship itself. The restoration and interpretation is first class although certain areas are starting to look tired with obvious signs of woodrot in some of the deck features. Well worth spending at least half a day here to experience all it has to offer. A suggested route plan around the decks would help.
I'll admit, I wasn't expecting to love it as much as I did. It was informative, interactive, stinky, and helped a lot by the lovely weather - although I'd like to go again when it's not so greenhouse-like!
Great educational visit for all the family. I have visited the ship many times, and it just gets better every time. Cafe on sit would be nice.
we visited today and were very impressed! We weren't too sure this would be out "thing" but thought as we were in the area...
We enjoyed seeing under the boat in the dry dock, looking up through the water (through glass obviously!) at the hull. The audio information on the boat was really good, we noticed a lot of people...
