My wife and i enjoyed this experience but it's starting to look a little dated in places. It was interesting to see some of the artifacts and there are some interesting exhibits too, especially the open excavation showing different levels of history. Although we didn't have our kids with us it appeared to cate for them quite well with some... More

This was an interesting experience - was not sure about it to begin with but once you got inside and saw how deep the excavations have gone then you do appreciate it more.

Went first thing in the morning but were told that as they had so many school parties it would be best to return in the afternoon after 1.30 which we did. Not a large amount of things to see but it was interesting if you like looking at Roman walls etc as my husband does. Showed not only roman but... More

Took my 9 year old to find out something about Roman Chester. The exhibits were thin on the ground as was the general content of the attraction. This place looked like it had been put together as a 6th form project in the 1970s. At £5.50 for adults and £3.75 for kids it wasn't worth the money, you'd be better... More

This attraction was very dark and had very steep steps to descend and ascend. If you don't like archeology, don't visit Dewa.

Visited with two children (8 and 5) on a wet Saturday afternoon in March - both enthralled by the sights, sounds, smells and the hands on area (particularly the model working catapult). Got to end and they insisted on going back and doing it again. Youngest (five) was convinced she had gone back in time and hasn't stopped talking about... More
