Lovely location and good food available near by. Watching the surfers and the waves was wonderful. The café nearby is also highly recommended and both are better than the gallery

Just a great beach, with an incredible aspect facing out across the Atlantic. Gets the late sunshine, and sunsets to die for. Brilliant surf beach too.

We came just to watch the surfers and we wasn't disappointed! These surfers were absolutely amazing to watch - their skill was the best we see in Cornwall St Ives was really nice place to walk around and chill out

Relax or surf. Lovely beach. Very peaceful to sit with a book listening to the waves or to brave the waters and try out a little surfing.

I have been returning to St Ives for many years and Porthmeor beach has everything, from great sand, great scenery, wonderful waves (for surfing of any type) and great facilities which keep on getting better. A place to sit, soak up the sun and chill!

Some of the best beaches in the UK, views are stunning. Walking to the top of the 'The Island' which adds a new dimension to the views. This is must!

Great beach, it ticks every box, you can surf,body board, swim, sunbathe or even go rock pooling. I love Porthmeor !!

All the beaches in St. Ives are beautiful and this one is no exception! A lovely place to relax or pick up shells and dip your toes in the water!
