A bit high church for my taste but the whole feel of the place, the style and erudition of the clergy and ancillaries together with the architecture make this a spectacular and emptive place to watch the services.

would really like to know much more about this place ... it is a beautiful church dropped dead in the middle of slumsvile .. have been a resident of Plymouth for 20+ years so feel qualified to say that ... have never understood the origin or reasoning behind this cathedral in Plymouth

In the centre of the city, accessible from all areas, a major parish church, with an incredibly stylish interior and all the in your face Anglo Catholic liturgy and practices you could dream of. I am a sceptic but there is no doubting the impact and theatrical experience. I have very good neighbours/friends who find the services wholly satisfying and... More

So very different from anything I have seen locally. Effectively and skillfully done. Nothing jars except perhaps the size of the big crucifix. Maybe I wasn't ready for it. The overall effect and the attention to detail is magnificent. Very surprised that it isn't better known. Plymouth isn't known for quality architecture. This is exceptional.

This is a special church, old on the outside and ultra-modern within. The make-over, whilst 21st century, is in keeping with the building overall.

I came here because the Tripadvisor listing led me to the website and I then decided I had to go and see. Like most of my friends and probably my generation I have no faith to speak of, but I am curious about powerful creeds ritual and symbolic architecture. I do not know how this old church managed to raise... More

Slightly over the top ritual for my fringe agnosticism and easy going response to established religion but I do like the interior of this church.

Got taken here by local friends. Very interesting experience. It is an Anglican church which behaves a bit like a Roman Catholic church. It's charismatic and personable priest is addressed as Father and has just been in the New Years Honours list for his extemsibe work for the wider community. The inside and outside of the church are impressive. There... More

The spire of St Peters Wyndham Square is an unmissible landmark from all over the southern half of the city and the building itself set in the well conserved Georgian early Victorian square is impressive. The interior which is as large as any church in the city, has undergone major restoration, changes and reconfiguration over at least the last decade.... More
