Lovely place to look at great views. But sadly we will not return both myself and my husband got bitten badly by midges. It may be the time of year or the nature reserve but it put us off.

Great for leisurely walks, up and over the top for the fitter people, level walks for less strenuous walks. Noddy train for those who fancy a lift and you can take dogs in it too. Nice cafe at the Hungry Hiker. We go regularly and never get fed up.....great views and lots of fresh air. Good for all ages, my...

A lovely place to go for a walk. The head is a favourite with locals and dog-walkers, and is well away from the Bournemouth crowds. The cliffs are topped with gorse and marram grass, swaying in the considerable winds. Take an extra layer, as it can get very chilly.
You can walk down to a beautiful spit of land, lined...

We were told about this little gem by a local, great walk with an amazing restaurant called the beach hut at the end. Truly stunning

A lovely...

Excellent place to walk the dog, beautiful scenery and walk down to the beach, very busy though at sunny times
Surprisingly good, my bacon sandwich was just as it should be, a couple of crisp rashers between 2 slices of fresh bread. Most of the cakes are home made, the cherry & cranberry oat cake was amazing. Top tip: take a ride on the land train afterwards to Mudeford Harbour, some great vistas to be had along the way.
We had a great day visiting Hengistbury head the little train that takes you down through the wooded area to the beach huts is great fun, this is a real must for visitors to Bournemouth
In the summer parking can be a problem as the car parks fill up very quickly. Arrive early and this shouldn't be a problem. If you do make it there during the day you can take a walk up over the raised headland, once an Iron Age fort with views to the IoW to the east and Old Harry Rocks...
