A typical Brighton residential area, but not worth the journey if you are a visitor unless you want to visit the Flea Market and antique shops nearby
...at the Kemptown Festival in June. Kemptown generally has an atmosphere all of its own and we were lucky that the sun was shining for the festival. Bohemian, eclectic, interesting, diverse, accepting are all words that spring to mind. I love it.
The Town House piano bar and restaurant. This place is gorgeous! The smoked haddock linguine was to die for! The waitresses are a fab team and very efficient and friendly. You wouldn't get better service at the Savoy!
Kemp town is nicer the closer one gets to kemp village. Nice cafes, small shops, burlesque venue, concord2, ok pubs, boutique hotels and lovely down on the beach .. volleyball. ..kiddie playground... quiet after city center. But the pics show kemptown enclosures, which are private...wish had picture of kemptown.
We had something to eat in kemp town and had a walk round the village, a lot of nice little shops and we did like the houses in kemptown
We stayed in an apartment here. We enjoyed the diversity of the main street. Loads of cafes and restaurants, all of which looked really nice.
