From there you should folow the mainroad true the marina or walk a long the mainroad on top of the cliff until the... More

I walked from the Palace Pier all the way along to Rottingdean on a lovely sunny day. This undercliff pathway is quite sheltered and a good way to catch some rays! The walk goes along the Volks electric railway towards the marina. At the marina walk along the boardwalk with the many cafés and restaurants. It feels very Mediterranean with... More

Enjoy a nice walk along the under cliffs. Then have a break at ovingdean. Pedestrians have priority although some cyclists don't seem to realise this. Walked to rottingdean recently from the pier. Roughly one and a half hours at a nice steady pace. Well worth it.

A mixture of bars, the beach obviously, stalls, kids park, it pretty much has everything to keep yourself and the kids busy for a few hours.

The ideal way to do this walk is to start at Brighton Pier and walk to the Marina, you can take in the Brighton Eye, the covered walkway along Madeira Drive, the Volks railway and from April to September 2013 the Brighton Sand Sculpture Festival which is located just before the Marina but which charges an entrance fee. If you... More

Well, the Brighton Pier is very interesting to visit especially if you are accompanied with kids, there are many rides and Fa fair styles games, many places to eat and drink and it,s surroundings are amazing for this beach.

Starting from the end of Brighton Marina this is a great walk to enjoy the sea air and lovely views. We walked as far as Rottingdean, grabbed a coffee at the pub just up the slope and then walked back to the Marina.... if not local, you can park at the multi storey free of charge. Lovely on a cold... More
