A great pier, had a drink in the Carousel Bar - Toilets are a health risk, very bad when the pier is being renovated this should have been the first done.

The views from North Pier alone are worth seeing and the best thing the Sedgewicks did once they took over was to scrap the admission charge and now more people visit. Compared to the other Piers at Blackpool, this pier was old fashioned, not many rides, and had only a few people on. They had a nice fudge shop, which sold nice some nice treats. I preferred this pier to any other, as there were no people on it, and it meant you could actually relax without crowds of people there!... More

This pier used to have a train and lots to do. Now its just a long walk to a show bar. (loose terminology). Lovely viewing platform to see the sea front of blackpool on a clear sunny day. Otherwise save yourself the effort

We stayed for 6 days and 4 of those were spent lying in the sun at the end of the North Pier. We could buy drinks and laze around all day - music playing - wonderful.

Blackpool has so many amazing classic features which we forget about now a days with us all flying off to the Sun and I cant blame you.
