Quick, clean, cheap, easy to use, straightforward, plenty people to ask, follow lines coloured to destination. No problem.
The London Tube is organized and is a great way to get around to all of the diffent areas of London quickly . I've been to London many times and this is pretty much the only way we get around. ( We've used the buses a couple of times but that was more just for fun.) My husband likes it... More
We were a bit concerned about finding our way around with two children and travelling on the tube for the first time ever but found it soooo easy to get around, so simple to find your route even if it's your first visit to London. It's so incredibly easy to pay, get in and out that it not just surpassed... More
Over the past few months we have traveled extensively through Europe and I must say London was by far the cleanest and easiest to find your way! It is not the cheapest at 9 pound per day. I was also impressed by the clean and well kept underground stations. Even the smell was nice compared to Paris.
Why would anyone leap onto a moving train when they are in London? There's always another train in a couple of minutes. I've seen numerous people risk their lives by forcing the train doors open as the train pulls out of the station, why? It's a fantastic system to use. The tube map is very easy to understand and you... More
We found our time spent on the London Tube to be wonderful. It was quick, which made getting from place to place easier. The system was clean, did not feel dirty or gross. We worked with our hotel staff and they told us where to transfer...otherwise we would have been highly confused. Make sure you have a clear idea of... More
Although it is huge with its eleven lines having 250 miles (402 km) in length, London tube is by far the easiest way to enjoy, discover, travel or actually work in this big city. It is very well organized, clean , civilized.
is pricey, but very efficient and clean for the most part. Felt safe and also appreciated the attendants that were always helpful especially when toting around 3 kids. You can download apps that tell you where to go and what stops, etc if you need help, but the people working there are also very helpful if you get in a... More
The London Tube is a fast, cheap and efficient means of going from one place to another. It's fascinating to see it filled with people from various cultures and from all walks of life. Be prepared for frenzied trips at around 4-6pm because that's the time when most commuters are going home from work. One time I took the underground... More
Highly recommend using the London Tube when in London and getting an Oyster card ordered in advance of your trip. With each family member with our own card we flew through train stations daily and 20 pound lasted us 3.5 days.
