We got a great bird's-eye view of the city from the London Eye. We went at sunset, which gave us an excellent view of the layout of London but we still were able to see all the lights coming on. Very clean and plenty of room.

Had I gotten in for free, or at least had a very brief wait, I would probably have liked it more. But honestly, in the line I felt like a cow being pushed down the line towards its slaughter; the only thing missing was the cattle prod (the foul-mood staff was definitely present.) That said, I really did enjoy the... More

We went on the London eye using standard tickets and we were on within 15 minutes, therefore there is no need to pay the inflated price for fast track. It was a wonderful experience and our children had a fantastic time. All the staff we met were excellent.

09-05-12 EDF Energy "London Eye" We timed the attraction to get the Sun setting and the City Lights. What a great way to get beautiful pictures. The city turns into billions of lights as the evening sky turns dark. The Eye turns so slowly (26cm per second) that you cannot feel the rotation at all. A very romantic way to... More

Great way to see the whole of London on clear day. Book a fast track ticket to avoid queues. There is a river boat service from a pier next to the Eye and the Aquarium is also nearby.

I pre-booked tickets in advance, so paid a lot less than I could have. I was upset by the way I was handled in the ticket office though. The operators deal with thousands of people daily but their customer service skills are non-existant, unlike the operators on the wheel who are very friendly. We were very lucky to have seen... More
