I have just seen the birth of the next big band at Barfly...Open Mind. What a fantastic evening in a cool, trendy venue. Highly recommended..that's the bar and the band.
Was not sure what to expect but was very impressed with the acoustics and atmosphere of the place. Not posh but that added to the value and the staff were great. I saw Ian Seagull and the Misssissippi Mudflaps who were great. Fantastic night out and very unexpected.

This place has one of the best sounds for a 'mid-sized' venue. Hosting up and coming bands, club nights, and more established shows, this place is a great venue to catch a show. The PA is excellent and the location is really good too.
A nice no-frills place, great music if yu just wanna dance or hear some 70s 80s 90s music, but I guess they have theme nights. I simply had fun there.
