Not amazing value for money, but a good bit of entertainment. Despite what some... interesting reviews say, there is plenty to do inside beyond just looking at the baths. The audio guide is very interesting, and there are plenty of rooms and even a short, interesting film. If you like your Roman history this is a no-brainer.

Plan to spend about 2 hours at this great attraction. The audio guides were great, and you could listen to the history of the ruins, or hear about the baths from the point of view of someone living at the time, or hear the opinion of the curator. We didn't go the first time we went to Bath, and that... More

I got up early and took a train directly to Bath from London, specifically to view this site. The audio guide was just the thing to mosey around with on your own time. I did the Pump Room via the Abbey Churchyard but would not have benefited from the audio guide supplement. Then hared off in the late afternoon to... More

I came here many years ago now on a school trip and was amazed at the change and how much more there was here than I remembered. Of course these days it is much more hight tech but all the better for it. The audio guide included with your ticket is very well done-perfectly pitched-not too earnest or scholarly and... More

I was quite keen to see the Roman baths as I'm always interested in ancient culture and architecture. The only thing I would say that took away from the experience was the sheer number of people that were there seeing the baths. This was on the weekend so that was probably part of the reason but you would often find... More

Well worth the time and money. Definitely use the audio guide; it's well done and makes the ruins come alive. The line can be long, but it moved quickly when we were there (late morning on a Saturday).

Why would anyone bother paying £12.50 for admission fee when they could see it for free in The Pump Room? Let me tell you it is not worth spending that money, you can enter The Pump Room Bath Abbey Churchyard, Bath BA1 1LZ and pretend that you are going for afternoon tea like everyone else but pass thru the hallway... We spent a most interesting 2-3 hours going around the Roman Baths, which are well worth a visit if one is in the area. One is provided with an electronic guide, in the language of your choice, which explains the history and uses of the Baths; this guide was excellent. However, one needs to choose the right time to visit... More

So well displayed, with a clear route that enables absorption of the large number of visitors very comfortably. Also brilliantly explained in the audio guides, and with lively explanations of what the other finds there (altars, statues etc) tell about the times.

Well presented, large museum with extensive Roman remains - one of the best Roman sites in the UK. Very busy but well worth visiting.
