Architecturally stunning and really well preserved. Beautiful place to visit - you shouldn't miss it.
See the impressive Catherdral & the Bishops Palace. Avoid the big chains/names in the Highstreet, and try the lovely little shops, cafe's & restaurants whilst you are there.
Wells Cathedral s a stunning and beautiful place and well worth a visit. They ask for contributions for entrance which is optional. The grounds, architecture and the surroundings make this a beautiful place and well worth a visit.
I find it difficult to accept that whilst many museums are free to enter, you have to pay to get into a church.

There is a resident cat called Louie who walks... More

What an extraordinary building. Unlike any other Cathedral I've seen. Make sure you take a volunteer-led tour of the Cathedral - so much detail to share which really brings the artwork, glass and stonework to life. Stay for Evensong - sit with the choir.
